Online Order Manual Specialist (Data Entry) - Contract

Location: Hunt Valley, MD (100% onsite)
Schedule: Full-time
Duration: 6-8+ weeks
Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Online Order Manual Specialist to support order operations by resolving exceptions and ensuring accurate order processing. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills, ERP experience, and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve stuck or exception-based orders within the system
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to pricing, inventory, payments, and address validation
• Perform manual corrections to ensure orders are processed successfully
• Work through exception queues to reduce backlog and maintain workflow efficiency
• Escalate complex issues appropriately-avoid making assumptions or unsupported changes

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems for order entry, order management, or transaction processing
• Solid understanding of the order lifecycle and fulfillment process
• High level of accuracy and speed in manual data entry
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing exception queues, order holds, or backlog resolution

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
• Exposure to e-commerce systems such as Shopify, Magento, or comparable tools

Basic Requirements

• Background in sales support, order entry, or customer operations
• ERP and/or CRM system experience required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under deadlines
• Must be able to work fully onsite with reliable transportation
• Availability to commit to the full duration of the assignment
